Dutch Heart Foundation 2022

The Dutch Heart Foundation leads the fight against heart and vascular diseases in The Netherlands. Approximately 107 people die from heart and vascular related issues here every day.

There are more than 1 million heart and vascular patients in The Netherlands; as of 2020 that number has risen to over 1.3 million patients.

The Hartstichting invest in research, education and improving patient care; about 50% of this money goes to research. The foundation receives no government support, so their work can only be achieved through the support of Dutch citizens and businesses.

This is exactly why we, the Aquaresins Group, have decided to become a partner of the Hartstichting’s ‘Hart voor de Zaak – Heart for the Business’ initiative.

‘Hart voor de Zaak’ is a well known Dutch expression for “being committed to the cause or being a company man”.  We feel this is a fitting motto for businesses supporting the great work of the Dutch heart foundation.

Research Partner

As a Covid-19 research partner, we hope to contribute to the continuation of heart research during, and after, the Covid-19 pandemic.

The funding we provide helps go toward the betterment of care for existing heart patients; as well as patients that now have heart or vascular issues as a result of Covid-19 complications.

Health Screening

One of the benefits of joining the ‘Hart voor de Zaak’ initiative is receiving annual heart-health screening and a vitality package for all of our staff. As a result, we can better support our employees health and well-being.
